In cases in which tooth decay progresses to the part that we call pulp where the nerves and blood vessels of the tooth are, the canal treatment is the process of removing the dental pulp tissue and filling the channels where the nerves are located with filler agents compatible with the body. The canal treatment procedure is applied in cases which the tooth decay progresses to the pulp chamber where the nerves are located when there is severe pain in the tooth despite capping or amputation if there is a fracture in the tooth that allows the nerves to be exposed, in case nerves are exposed during cutting on teeth to be crowned when inflammation begins in the nerve tissue of the tooth, in case there is inflammation at the root tip of the tooth.
